Giveaway - Free May Wallpaper!

Hey guys! Well, I've been wanting to do more self-initiated design work for a while, and I figured out that if I was giving myself a target of doing a wallpaper for each month, it would give me the motivation I needed. And it worked! So now I'm super excited to show you the first wallpaper of the serie, designed by myself. You can just download the first version here, and the second here. And there's also a mobile version just here.

Enjoy!

Wandering - Weekend in Llangollen

Hey friends! Hope you're having a good weekend so far. Last weekend, we wanted to so something special for Jason's birthday, so we decided to spend some time in Llangollen. We enjoyed it so much that I just had to share my photos with you. The photo above is of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

We obviously had to stop at The Corn Mill as everyone told us the food was amazing there. We weren't disappointed! Although we were absolutely full after our main meal, we couldn't resist to the mouthwatering desserts on the menu. This chocolate torte was to die for!

The view from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was breathtaking. I have to say, I'm quite afraid of heights, but I didn't want to miss the amazing views on this sunny day! I was so brave ;)

We finished our first day in Llangollen with a little relaxing stroll around the town.

On the second day, we woke up early and decided to do a 7 mile walk, starting along the canal to the Horseshoe Falls. We carried on a little bit too much and finally walked a long way around the hills before arriving to the Valle Crucis Abbey.

After walking 10 miles (yes, we realised that the way we took was definitely much longer than we thought!) we arrived at Castell Dinas Bran, an old castle ruin steeped in Welsh legend, absolutely knackered and under the pouring rain. But it didn't stop us! After taking a few photos, we headed down to the town for well deserved food.

Portfolio update #3

Lately, I've been working on a few maps at View Creative, and I have to say, I'm really pleased with the result. It's such a good feeling to have the final product printed and in your hands! The map above was created for the North East Wales brochure, and the maps below were requested by the National Trust. Hope you like them!

If you want to see more photos of these maps, you can head to my website :)

Portfolio update #2

Hey guys! I would like to share with you this project that I've been working on for a while and that I'm really pleased with. Gina and David approached me last year to design their wedding's stationery, and I have to say, I was really excited to be able to work on such a big project and to make an important contribution to their big day.

Turned out that I also really enjoyed working on it and I'm really chuffed with the results and the positive feedback from Gina and David's family and friends.

Food - Lunch at The Gresham

I LOVE food, but the thing is, I love good food (which is a French cliché that perfectly suits me!), and when we tried The Gresham in Llandudno a couple of years ago, we knew we were going to come back often.

After picking up my new phone today (I finally got a proper smartphone, woohoo!) we decided that our hungry tummies needed a good treat, and we knew exactly where to get it.

The food is amazing and the prices are so reasonable that you can't think of an excuse to not try their various tasty tapas. If you don't trust me, you can check out the reviews on Tripadvisor right here!
